KICK OFF OF CEMOWAS2, Damazan (FR)

Last 14 and 15 June, CEMOWAS2 hold its kick off meeting on circular and eco-systematic management of organic waste and waste water.

This meeting has been held in Damazan (FR) at ValOrizon Headquarter – main beneficiary of the project, and brought technical and political representatives of the seven project’s partners: SICOVAL, EDER, Badajoz Commerce Chamber, Granollers City Hall, The National Institute of Carbone, Lisboa E-Nova and FCT/Nova.

During the meeting, each partner introduced the activities they will develop in the following months to implement participative and sustainable territorial strategies, according to circular economy, for organic waste and waste water management.

Next 25 and 26th October, the project will organise its first technical seminar in Granollers. 

CEMOWAS 2 reinforces the capacities of local authorities regarding organic waste management and products resulting of depuration processes. Thus, CEMOWAS 2 is a circular economy Project which turns wastes into resources. For this purpose, it develops and implements 6 joint strategies of wastes management, between different territorial and sectorial actors, covering all the value chain and allowing a large transfer.
