The partners of the ROBOTA-SUDOE<\/strong> project met on 22 and 23 January<\/strong> in the Alicante region for the annual meeting marking the project\u2019s first year. Hosted by the Spanish partner AIJU<\/strong>, the event brought together the full consortium to review technical progress, financial aspects and overall project coordination.<\/p>\n

Over two days, discussions focused on assessing achievements and consolidating the roadmap for the next stages of development of robotic solutions for the meat and toy sectors.<\/p>\n

22 January: Strategic Coordination and Industrial Visit to JUEMA<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On 22 January<\/strong>, the first day was held in collaboration with JUEMA<\/strong>, an industrial company specialising in doll manufacturing.<\/p>\n

Following an opening session dedicated to project updates and priorities, partners exchanged views on progress achieved and upcoming milestones.<\/p>\n

The afternoon was devoted to a visit to JUEMA\u2019s facilities<\/strong>, including the robotic cell currently under development<\/strong>, designed to automate doll demoulding and assembly operations.<\/p>\n

This industrial immersion enabled direct interaction with technical teams and provided valuable insight into the integration of collaborative robotics in a real production environment.<\/p>\n

The day concluded with a working dinner in Alicante, strengthening collaboration among partners.<\/p>\n

23 January: Collaborative Work and Visit to AIJU<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On 23 January<\/strong>, the meeting continued at AIJU<\/strong>, a leading technology centre in the toy and plastics sectors.<\/p>\n

Discussions focused on ongoing developments, next steps and overall project coordination.<\/p>\n

The morning concluded with a visit to AIJU\u2019s facilities<\/strong>, including its laboratories and innovation infrastructure, highlighting its central role in supporting the development of robotic solutions for SMEs.<\/p>\n

One Year of Progress<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This annual meeting represented an important milestone for ROBOTA-SUDOE, strengthening cooperation among partners and preparing the next phase of implementation.<\/p>\n
