Contributions from projects such as <\/span><b>canSERV<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, presented by Enzo Medico (University of Turin, IT), and <\/span><b>EUCAIM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, by Luis Mart\u00edn-Bonmat\u00ed (La Fe University and Polytechnic Hospital, ES) were also discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the afternoon, the Success Cases Session focused on innovations in the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to <\/span><b>drug repurposing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Key topics included knowledge graph applications and their impact on biopharmaceutical research, with presentations from Alejandro Rodr\u00edguez Gonz\u00e1lez (Polytechnic University of Madrid, ES), Jos\u00e9 A. Seoane (Vall d&#8217;Hebron Institute of Oncology, ES), and Gayo Diallo (University of Bordeaux, FR).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Challenges and opportunities for SUDOE<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The day concluded with a roundtable on the challenges and opportunities of <\/span><b>drug repurposing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the SUDOE region.
