Meet Aguinello DiGreennu, selected in the first call for applications.<\/h2>\n

Tell us briefly about yourself and your background!<\/h3>\n

I’m a regular person with both virtues and flaws. I completed the 12th grade through a professional equivalency program. I felt that university was too much for me at the time\u2014it was a personal choice. I decided not to pursue university due to financial difficulties, and my health also played a role in that decision. I took several courses to expand my knowledge<\/strong><\/a>, including ones on entrepreneurship<\/strong>. I had some internships as well. Due to a lack of job opportunities, I decided to work on my own projects. I saw an opportunity and took it, hoping it might lead to a ‘golden egg.’<\/p>\n

How did you find out about SCAIRA?<\/h3>\n

I found out about it through the SAPO Not\u00edcias app, and since it didn\u2019t require me to have a registered company, I decided to apply. I already had a project in the field of aerial technology to combat climate change, so I chose to move forward with it. Now, I\u2019m preparing to submit my next project for the second call.<\/p>\n

What stage is your startup currently at?<\/h3>\n

Just an idea.<\/p>\n

What is the nature of your project, and what problem does it aim to solve?<\/h3>\n

The aim of my project is to combat climate change by addressing the problem of air pollution in cities and the atmosphere<\/strong>. I am currently working to bring this idea to life, despite the challenges of this complex early phase. The main objectives are: to develop drones capable of filtering and purifying polluted air; to deploy them initially in urban areas to improve air quality; and to reduce the harmful effects of human activity before the damage becomes irreversible. In a few years, I hope to look back and see myself as a successful entrepreneur who made a meaningful contribution to the fight against climate change.<\/p>\n

Which SCAIRA services have you chosen?<\/h3>\n

I have chosen all services. The reason is to open more doors of knowledge and support. I hope it opens doors to more projects.<\/p>\n

What are your short-term objectives during the acceleration programme?<\/h3>\n

My short-term goals during the acceleration programme are: to bring my project to life, create my own company, build a long-term future and achieve the sacrifice of my effort in success.<\/p>\n

Who is your target market, and what customer need are you addressing?<\/h3>\n

My target market includes governments, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial sectors. I aim to address their need to ensure good air quality for the population, reduce reliance on resource extraction from the ground, and contribute to improved respiratory health and a healthier outdoor urban environment.<\/p>\n

What are your main current challenges?<\/h3>\n

My main challenges at the moment are: financial support, equipment, teams, specific drones to carry out services, etc.<\/p>\n

Do you already have a team?<\/h3>\n
