Held at the Eurostars Isla de La Toja, the event brought together healthcare professionals, tech companies, public administrations, and universities to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the \u201c<strong data-start=\"3744\" data-end=\"3768\">medicine of tomorrow<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3774\" data-end=\"4056\">In this setting, the <strong data-start=\"3795\" data-end=\"3817\">RePo-SUDOE project<\/strong> showcased its <strong data-start=\"3832\" data-end=\"3900\">platform for drug repurposing using molecular docking techniques<\/strong>. This tool enables the computational study of molecule\u2013protein interactions, assessing the potential of existing drugs to act on new therapeutic targets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4058\" data-end=\"4243\">RePo-SUDOE aims to <strong data-start=\"4077\" data-end=\"4145\">accelerate the identification of new uses for existing medicines<\/strong>, leveraging computational methods to reduce the time and costs of traditional drug development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4245\" data-end=\"4515\">Participation in RIES25 allowed the RePo-SUDOE consortium <strong data-start=\"4303\" data-end=\"4413\">to share its progress and strengthen connections with other key players in the health innovation ecosystem<\/strong>, reaffirming its commitment to knowledge transfer and cross-border collaboration in the SUDOE area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The RIES Forum concluded its tenth edition last Thursday on the island of A Toxa, establishing itself as a benchmark event for health, innovation, and public\u2013private collaboration.
