This innovative initiative seeks to transform rehabilitation processes in rural areas through the use of advanced technology and more personal, connected support.<\/p>\n<p>The REVITAL project is supported by an international consortium made up of entities from Spain, France, and Portugal: the Innovative Solutions for Independent Living Cluster (SIVI), the Social Services Management of Castilla y Le\u00f3n, the San Cebri\u00e1n Foundation, GOGOA Mobility Robots, the Superior School of Advanced Industrial Technologies (ESTIA), the University of DEUSTO, the GARAZI Public Health Institute, the Beira Baixa Business Association (AEBB), and the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute (IPCB), which make up the entire consortium.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-Fn7ojJcdjU?si=YCszhMkJD5fWfXzn\" width=\"600\" height=\"560\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">San Cebri\u00e1n Foundation is conducting the pilot project in Spain<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">The project is being piloted by three entities, one for each country. The Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute (IPCB) is conducting the pilot project in Portugal, EPS Garazi in France, and the San Cebri\u00e1n Foundation itself in Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the case of Spain, the San Cebri\u00e1n Foundation (FSC) began the pilot project in January 2025 and is developing it throughout the year, concluding in December. Thus, so far this year, the San Cebri\u00e1n Foundation has served a total of 21 people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), stroke, Parkinson&#8217;s disease, and other conditions in the Cerrato and Tierra de Campos regions.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of this pilot project is to address the need to provide specialized healthcare and physical and neurological rehabilitation services (especially for dependent and elderly individuals) through technological tools that enable the provision of telecare and telerehabilitation services.
