The meeting was organised by <strong>NEIKER BRTA<\/strong> and brought together project partners from <strong>Spain, France and Portugal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>During the meeting, the teams reviewed in detail the <strong>work plan<\/strong>, the <strong>initial technical and financial milestones<\/strong>, and the <strong>roadmap<\/strong> that will guide the implementation of the project in the coming months. This first coordination meeting made it possible to align objectives, methodologies and timelines, thereby strengthening transnational cooperation among the partners.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>e\u2011Rigation project<\/strong>, co-funded by the <strong>Interreg Sudoe Programme<\/strong>, aims to <strong>develop and test an innovative system based on virtual weather stations<\/strong>. This system will enable the <strong>optimization of agricultural irrigation<\/strong> through the use of <strong>advanced agrometeorological models<\/strong>, contributing to more <strong>efficient water management<\/strong> and enhanced sustainability in the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n<p>With a clearly <strong>transnational approach<\/strong>, e\u2011Rigation combines <strong>scientific knowledge, technology and innovation<\/strong> to address one of the major current challenges in southern Europe: <strong>efficient water use in the context of climate change<\/strong>.
