{"id":65819,"date":"2026-05-07T15:24:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T13:24:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/interreg-sudoe.eu\/noticia-proyecto\/para-una-mejor-adaptacion-de-los-territorios-termales-frente-al-cambio-climatico\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T16:18:02","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T14:18:02","slug":"para-una-mejor-adaptacion-de-los-territorios-termales-frente-al-cambio-climatico","status":"publish","type":"noticia-proyecto","link":"https:\/\/interreg-sudoe.eu\/en\/noticia-proyecto\/para-una-mejor-adaptacion-de-los-territorios-termales-frente-al-cambio-climatico\/","title":{"rendered":"THERMECOWAT PROJECT PRESENTATION AT THE EUROPEAN GEOSCIENCES UNION BY THE BRGM"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>As part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.egu.eu\/news\/1703\/egu-general-assembly-2026-meeting-programme-and-provisional-press-conferences\/\">European Geosciences Union<\/a> (EGU), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brgm.fr\/fr\">BRGM<\/a> (French Geological Survey) has been selected to present a poster on Friday, 8 May 2026.<br data-start=\"233\" data-end=\"236\" \/>The poster is entitled: \u201cTOWARDS BETTER ADAPTATION OF THERMAL TERRITORIES TO CLIMATE CHANGE\u201d: THE THERMECOWAT PROJECT.<\/h4>\n<p>The<strong> sustainability<\/strong> of <strong>spa territories<\/strong> relies on mineral and <strong>thermal groundwater<\/strong>, historically exploited for medical and energy purposes. <strong>Climate change<\/strong> now threatens these resources, altering water quality, quantity, and governance, particularly in the<strong> SUDOE region<\/strong>, where reduced and redistributed rainfall exacerbates these challenges.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>ThermEcoWat Project<\/strong> addresses this through a participatory methodology integrating environmental, socio-economic, and regulatory dimensions.
