On this occasion, we focus on <strong>NEIKER<\/strong>, a technology center based in <strong>Euskadi (Basque Country) <\/strong>and the <strong>main beneficiary of the project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5>A key role in project development<\/h5>\n<p>Within the project, NEIKER<strong> leads the overall execution and coordination<\/strong>, ensuring the proper progress of activities at both technical and administrative levels. Its work focuses on <strong>ensuring consistency among partners<\/strong>, <strong>guaranteeing the quality of results<\/strong>, and <strong>promoting effective collaboration<\/strong> throughout the project.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it participates in the development of solutions such as <strong>virtual weather stations<\/strong>, leads the <strong>improvement of water management applications<\/strong>, and coordinates <strong>pilot trials under real conditions<\/strong>. It also contributes to the <strong>evaluation of solutions<\/strong>, the <strong>development of public policy recommendations<\/strong>, and the <strong>transfer of results to the agricultural sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5>Experience driving innovation<\/h5>\n<p>NEIKER\u2019s contribution is based on <strong>more than 20 years of experience<\/strong> in estimating <strong>crop water requirements<\/strong> and <strong>irrigation scheduling<\/strong>. Its work integrates <strong>mathematical models<\/strong>, <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong>, and <strong>monitoring technologies<\/strong>, combining <strong>satellite data<\/strong>, <strong>weather information<\/strong>, and <strong>field sensors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This track record, strengthened by participation in European projects such as ClimAlert, MONTCLIMA, and PhytoSUDOE, supports progress in <strong>solutions to improve irrigation efficiency<\/strong> and <strong>agronomic decision-making<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5>Towards more efficient and resilient agriculture<\/h5>\n<p>The goal of NEIKER in e\u2011Rigation is to contribute to the development of tools that enable a <strong>more efficient, precise, and sustainable water management<\/strong> in agriculture.<\/p>\n<p>Through its participation, the organization promotes <strong>precision agriculture<\/strong> that is more <strong>resilient and adapted to climate change<\/strong>, where the <strong>smart use of water<\/strong> is key to improving the <strong>sustainability and competitiveness of the sector<\/strong> in the <strong>SUDOE<\/strong> territory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Within the e\u2011Rigation project, each partner plays a specific role and contributes key knowledge to advance towards a more efficient water management in agriculture.
