Brousse<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The workshop represented an important project milestone, as all three pilot sites delivered a first consolidated presentation of their <strong>Action and Adaptation Plans<\/strong>, currently being refined and developed.<\/p>\n<p>These plans are the result of a multidisciplinary process combining:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 territorial diagnosis,<br \/>\n\u2022 climate change projections,<br \/>\n\u2022 hydrogeological and environmental analyses,<br \/>\n\u2022 socio-economic considerations,<br \/>\n\u2022 regulatory assessment,<br \/>\n\u2022 evaluation of alternative solutions,<br \/>\n\u2022 and prioritisation of adaptation measures.<\/p>\n<p>A central element of this process is the <strong>ThermEcoWat Knowledge Graph (TEW KG)<\/strong>, developed to structure and connect heterogeneous territorial data and support decision-making through an integrated approach.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"bwz46e\" data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1919\"><\/h3>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"bwz46e\" data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1919\"><\/h4>\n<h4 data-section-id=\"bwz46e\" data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1919\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">From diagnosis to action<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The Madrid workshop enabled partners to demonstrate how scientific knowledge can support concrete territorial strategies.<\/p>\n<p>For each pilot case, discussions focused on:<br \/>\n\u2022 resource analysis and future scenarios,<br \/>\n\u2022 use of TEW KG data for solution assessment,<br \/>\n\u2022 feasibility and prioritisation criteria,<br \/>\n\u2022 and preparation of operational action plans.<\/p>\n<p>The adaptation plans currently under development aim not only to protect thermal resources but also to strengthen territorial resilience through improved governance, energy transition, sustainable resource management and economic diversification.<\/p>\n<h4 data-section-id=\"czcgso\" data-start=\"2619\" data-end=\"2665\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">Advancing the ThermEcoWat Livre Blanc<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Madrid was also an important step forward in the preparation of one of the project\u2019s final outputs: the <strong>ThermEcoWat Livre Blanc<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Designed as a methodological guide for thermal territories, the Livre Blanc will capitalise on the lessons learned throughout the project and provide a transferable framework to support decision-makers in building climate adaptation strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than presenting only project results, the Livre Blanc aims to connect scientific knowledge, governance mechanisms, territorial realities and decision-making processes into a practical methodology that can inspire thermal territories across Europe.<\/p>\n<h4 data-section-id=\"18pavnf\" data-start=\"3415\" data-end=\"3441\"><span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">Looking ahead to Brussels<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>This workshop concludes the transnational workshop cycle of ThermEcoWat and opens the final phase of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The next major milestone will be the <strong>final ThermEcoWat event in Brussels<\/strong>, where the project\u2019s consolidated results and final deliverables will be presented.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium would like to warmly thank CN IGME-CSIC for hosting and organising this workshop, and all project partners for their continued commitment and
