It also showcased projects and initiatives demonstrating how technological innovation can promote more efficient use of resources, reduce environmental impact and strengthen the competitiveness of the business sector.<\/p>\n<p>The involvement of the partners and participants enriched the debate and highlighted the importance of <strong>collaboration between companies, scientific and technological organisations, and other stakeholders within the innovation ecosystem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Through the project, <strong>initiatives will continue to be promoted to encourage the adoption of sustainable and innovative practices<\/strong>, contributing to the development of a more resilient, circular industry that is ready to face the challenges of the future in the Sudoe area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project partners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The REMAIN project is coordinated by Inescop \u2013 Footwear Technology Centre, with the participation of the Universities of Zaragoza, Alicante, Coimbra, and Clermont Auvergne INP; the Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE); and the companies SMA-RTY, Autom\u00e1tica y Control Num\u00e9rico S.L., and AIDA CCI, with the social association Proyecto L\u00e1zaro acting as a collaborating partner.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 28 May, AIDA CCI, a beneficiary partner in the REMAIN project, held an awareness-raising session focused on the challenges and opportunities offered by the circular economy, artificial intelligence and industrial remanufacturing in moving towards a more sustainable, efficient and competitive industry.
