This contribution provided visibility to Cyan\u2019EAU\u2019s work in the field of sustainable management of aquatic ecosystems.<\/p>\n<p>During the presentation, the growing challenge of cyanobacterial blooms in inland water bodies was addressed\u2014a phenomenon that is becoming increasingly frequent and can have environmental, social, and economic implications.<\/p>\n<p>The importance of improving the understanding of these processes was also highlighted, along with the need to move towards approaches based on prevention and early detection, which are key to more effective water resource management.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in international conferences such as IOCXe 2026 represents a strategic opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Share knowledge with the international scientific community<\/li>\n<li>Foster new collaborations and synergies<\/li>\n<li>Enhance the visibility of the Cyan\u2019EAU project at the European level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #285ea6;\">Cyan\u2019EAU continues to work on the development of innovative tools to<strong> anticipate, monitor, and mitigate<\/strong> the effects of cyanobacterial blooms, with the goal of protecting water quality and promoting the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems.<\/span><\/h6>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cyan\u2019EAU project took part in the 1st International Online Conference on Xenobiotics (IOCXe 2026), held on June 22\u201323 in an online format, through the participation of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP).
