Researchers <strong>Carlos Fern\u00e1ndez Lozano<\/strong> and <strong>Luc\u00eda Mart\u00ednez Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> attended the <strong>European Association for Cancer Research (EACR 2026)<\/strong> Congress on 8 June, one of the leading scientific meetings in oncology, which this year focused on functional genomics, tumour heterogeneity, clinical biomarkers and treatment resistance mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During the congress, the team presented two scientific posters demonstrating the application of bioinformatics to cancer research. The first study focused on identifying transcriptomic signatures associated with triple-negative breast cancer to improve the molecular characterisation of this tumour subtype. The second investigated mechanisms of resistance to Olaparib in ovarian cancer, contributing to a better understanding of why some treatments lose effectiveness and supporting the development of new therapeutic strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in EACR 2026 enables RePo-SUDOE to validate its research workflows before the international scientific community and strengthen the project&#8217;s contribution to precision medicine and drug repurposing.
