The 10 project partners participated in the meeting and jointly reviewed all the contents planned by ASCA: objectives, work schedule, planned activities, as well as the main achievements and expected results.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">During the first months, the consortium also had to adapt to a major change. In December 2025, one of the French partners, Purple Campus, announced that it could not continue in the project. After a process of searching for alternative partners, the AgroMontpellier Institute officially joined the project in May 2026, taking on the tasks planned for Purple Campus. This transition allowed for the continuity of activities and strengthened cooperation among the consortium members.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">At the same time, progress was made in the internal organization of the project. The Spanish Chamber of Commerce has coordinated the general management, the monitoring of the activities and the support to the members in the first administrative and financial procedures. The common work tools have also been launched, through the ASCA Open Campus and the Project Quality Committee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">The communication of the project has also taken its first steps. Common presentation materials have already been prepared, including several common brochures, promotional videos and the official ASCA poster. Both the brochures and the poster are available in the three main languages of the project to support the dissemination of ASCA through the usual channels of all partners.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">In order to develop the Project Strategy, the consortium carried out an updated analysis of the needs of the agro-industrial sector, by conducting surveys of companies and business associations in Spain, France and Portugal (61 participants) and organizing 5 working meetings with companies, associations, technology centers and public administrations. These meetings made it possible to compare the results of the surveys, confirm or update the main challenges of the sector, collect recommendations and better define the content of training activities for companies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">From this work, the consortium developed a common strategy for the three countries. This document gathers a shared vision on the needs of the sector and serves as the basis for the training actions foreseen in the project for companies and students, as well as for the pilot action of the project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">ASCA has already designed and completed the contents of the training plan aimed at small and medium-sized agro-industrial enterprises. This training addresses topics such as digitalisation, new industrial technologies and sustainability, always from a practical approach and adapted to the needs of companies. The training content (20 modules) is now available in Spanish, French and Portuguese.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">The selection of companies began in July 2026, and the consortium expects the training of the 170 participating SMEs to begin next September and end in the first half of 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">The consortium is currently preparing the contents of the training plan aimed at university and higher vocational training students with the aim of presenting them to universities and collaborating entities in the last quarter of 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">To ensure the quality of the results, the Project Quality Committee was appointed in June 2026 with the function of reviewing the main deliverables of the project and ensuring that the activities are carried out according to the planned objectives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\">In this first phase, ASCA has laid the foundations to deploy its activities in the three participating countries. The project already has a common strategy, communication materials, coordination tools and a first training offer underway.
