Following its presentation in Spain and France, the strategy was also presented in Portugal on 24 September, during the 1st Smart Villages Forum held in Sardoal.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, the main elements of the HITTS Strategy were presented, focusing on enhancing heritage as a resource to foster the socio-economic development of rural territories and promote sustainable tourism models.<\/p>\n<p>Participation in the 1st Smart Villages Forum provided an opportunity to share the project&#8217;s approaches and results with other stakeholders involved in rural development, strengthening the transfer of the strategy and the exchange of experiences between territories.<\/p>\n<p>The HITTS project is co-funded by the Interreg Sudoe programme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The HITTS Strategy was presented in Portugal on 24 September, as part of the 1st Smart Villages Forum in Sardoal, continuing its dissemination following its presentation in Spain.
