Among the different topics addressed, <strong>remanufacturing<\/strong> stood out as an opportunity that, according to the experts, should be further explored in sectors with significant industrial activity, such as footwear, textiles and furniture.<\/p>\n<p>The programme featured contributions from In\u00eas Vicente, Vice-President and Coordinator of the Textile Area at <strong>Circular Economy Portugal (<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/circulareconomy.pt\/en\/\"><strong>CEP<\/strong><\/a><strong>)<\/strong>, who discussed the application of circular economy principles to the textile sector, and Pedro Martins, Founder and CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.larus.pt\/\"><strong>LARUS Design<\/strong><\/a>, who shared his experience in urban ecodesign. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inescop.es\/es\/\"><strong>INESCOP<\/strong><\/a> also presented the REMAIN project, which is based on the concept of remanufacturing as a key pillar in the transition towards a more circular industry.
