Cancela, from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and coordinator of I-ReWater; Juan Antonio Rodr\u00edguez D\u00edaz, Emilio Caamacho and Ignacio G\u00f3mez, from the Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba; and Anne-Laure Collard, from INRAE.<\/p>\n<p>During the congress, UCO and USC presented several results from our project on water reuse policies and the nutritional impact of irrigation with reclaimed water on hop crops, while INRAE presented a study on treated wastewater reuse, territory and agriculture in <strong>France<\/strong>. Juan Antonio Rodr\u00edguez, Professor of Hydraulic Engineering at the Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba, also played a prominent role as General Reporter for one of the congress\u2019s major scientific questions: the potential of non-conventional water resources, including water reuse, to reduce pressure on available resources. <a href=\"https:\/\/icidcongress2026.org\/themes\/#question-68\">More information here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are the papers presented by the I-ReWater team at the 26th ICID International Congress:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spain<\/strong><br \/>\n\u25aa\ufe0f <strong>&#8220;A comparative review of international water reuse policies from a risk management perspective&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\nOral Communication: Ignacio G\u00f3mez Lucena<br \/>\nI. representation<br \/>\n<\/strong>The event also featured significant institutional representation from Spain, including Bego\u00f1a Garc\u00eda Bernal, Secretary of State for Agriculture and Food; Cristina Clemente, from MAPA, Vice-President of ICID and President of the Spanish National Committee of ICID; and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez, Vice-President of CEICID and President of the Spanish Association of Irrigation and Drainage (AERYD), an associated entity of I-ReWater.<\/p>\n<p>For I-ReWater Proyecto Interreg Sudoe, taking part in an international forum of this kind represents another opportunity to raise the visibility of the project\u2019s results, exchange experiences with researchers from other countries and bring the knowledge generated over these three years closer to
