Only entities located in one of the 29 regions (NUTS II) that make up the South-West European Cooperation area can receive ERDF aid. See the list of eligible regions <\/span>here<\/span>. <\/span> <\/p>\n

As a rule, structures located outside the Sudoe area will not be able to benefit from the programme.<\/span><\/p>\n

Considering the partial eligibility of the territory of the Member States participating in the programme, exceptions to this rule may be observed. These are presented in point 3 of factsheet 4 of the Sudoe Manual and in point 3 of the official text of the call for projects.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

All public, private for-profit or non-profit organizations and companies located in the eligible area of the Sudoe programme can be beneficiaries.<\/span><\/p>\n

You are advised to check all the criteria that are reviewed by the Joint Secretariat to verify the eligibility of your entity. They can be found in point 5 of the official text of the call for projects and in point 3 of factsheet 4 of the<\/span>Sudoe Manual<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Private for-profit entities are not allowed to lead a project. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

How many beneficiaries should the project partnership include? <\/div><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t<\/span>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/summary>\n\t\t\t\t

The partnership must include at least one beneficiary from each of the three Member States participating in the Sudoe programme. Specifically, a partnership must include at least one Spanish beneficiary, one French beneficiary and one Portuguese beneficiary. <\/span><\/p>\n

There are no other conditions regarding the number of beneficiaries in an Interreg Sudoe project.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The participation of entities is limited to one application as lead partner and two applications as beneficiary<\/span> (maximum total of 3 proposals per entity)<\/span>). Project partnerships must be made up of different types of actors that make up the value chain of the project’s sector of intervention.<\/span><\/p>\n

The types of actors required in applications are defined in the eligibility criteria by Specific Objective in point 10 of the official text of the call for projects. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

As a rule, entities (types I, II and III) must present a minimum budget of \u20ac100,000. This threshold is lowered to \u20ac50,000 if the project is submitted under SO 4.1 or 4.5.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the entity is type IV (private for-profit), the participation threshold is \u20ac20,000.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, there is no upper limit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Projects must meet the strategic objectives of the programme and fit in with one of the 9 Specific Objectives supported. Check out the supported cooperation themes here.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, certain types of projects are expected for each Specific Objective.<\/span><\/p>\n

To contribute to the strategic objectives of the programme, projects must produce specific outputs and achieve tangible results. These outputs and results are the indicators that projects must obtain at the end of their implementation.
