It is the program&#8217;s single point of contact for all stakeholders. It is based in Santander, Spain.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da5bfac elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"da5bfac\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">National Authorities<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4bcec67 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4bcec67\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>They are the point of contact for potential beneficiaries and beneficiaries at national level in each Member State. They are involved in the dissemination of the programme and the results of the projects at the national level, as well as in the support of the beneficiaries during the administrative and financial implementation of the projects. Check the <a href=\"https:\/\/interreg-sudoe.eu\/en\/las-autoridades-nacionales-del-sudoe\/\">pages of each national authority<\/a> to access their contact details and learn more about their activities.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a521989 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a521989\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Audit Authority<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-960b698 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"960b698\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Independently of other program authorities, it conducts audits of the program&#8217;s management and control system, as well as project audits.<\/p>\n<p>It provides the European Commission with independent assurance on the effective functioning of the programme.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Vollkorn; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">The General Comptroller of the Spanish State Administration (IGAE), based in Madrid, is the audit authority for the Sudoe programme. To carry out its functions, it uses a panel of independent auditors composed of a representative from each Member State.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b6db6a4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b6db6a4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Accounting Authority<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ccd37e8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ccd37e8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It certifies expenditure declarations and submits payment requests to the European Commission. It receives payments from the the FEDER and EC and guarantees reimbursement to project partners. It is also responsible for the preparation of the annual accounts.
