These guidelines are set out in the European regulations in a series of Specific Objectives (SO) that programmes financed by the cohesion funds must support.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>9 Specific Objectives<\/strong> supported by the Interreg Sudoe programme echo the 2 strategic guidelines that stem from the programme&#8217;s identity:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>1- Preserving natural capital and strengthening adaptation to climate change in the Sudoe area<\/li>\n<li>2- Strengthening social cohesion and territorial and demographic balance in the Sudoe area through innovation and endogenous development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These 9 Specific Objectives are distributed in these <strong>4 priorities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8211; Priority 1<\/strong>: Preserving the natural capital and strengthening adaptation to climate change in the Sudoe area<\/li>\n<li> <\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; Priority 2<\/strong>: Promoting social cohesion and territorial and demographic balance in the Sudoe area through innovation and the transformation of productive sectors<\/li>\n<li> <\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; Priority 3:<\/strong> Promoting social cohesion and territorial and demographic balance in the Sudoe area through social innovation, enhancement of heritage and services<\/li>\n<li> <\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8211; Priority 4<\/strong>: Strengthening the capacity of Sudoe to have an
