The AGRITECH project will develop 6 pilot actions to apply the “AgriDemoLab” methodology in 6 different territorial and crop contexts: P1 Nouvelle-Aquitaine – Viticulture, P2 Occitania – agroecological transition and territorialized food systems across various crops, P3 Extremadura – Irrigation and fertilization management in fruit and vegetable crops (tomato, pepper, and woody crops), P4 Andalusia – Fruit growing (subtropical crops: avocado and mango), P5 Navarre – Fertilization management in “precision agriculture” for extensive crops, and P6 Western PT – Fruit growing (pear).<\/p>\n
In each pilot action, the “AgriDemoLab” methodology will be applied through the following process: (1) needs analysis of the participating small farms, (2) development of small, low-cost “demonstrators” on the farms themselves, managed by the farmers, and (3) transfer of results to other small farmers in the target sub-sectors through visits to the demonstrators, small training sessions, peer-to-peer meetings, and testimonial videos.<\/p>\n
