Technological Modernization and Innovation for Traditional Sectors in the SUDOE Region<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Our project aims to modernize the economic sectors of the SUDOE region, with a special focus on the agri-food and plastics industries. We seek to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and innovation<\/strong> to less developed areas and traditional or artisanal sectors, where conventional automation is not applicable.<\/p>\n

Project Objectives<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We aim to enhance competitiveness and boost SME growth<\/strong> through collaborative robotics<\/strong> solutions. These technologies will help address the region’s specific challenges while ensuring an environmentally friendly approach. By integrating innovation into local development, we aim to improve the quality of life and increase the attractiveness of rural areas in the SUDOE region.<\/p>\n

Our Actions<\/strong><\/h4>\n

To achieve these goals, we are implementing several initiatives:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Creating a network for knowledge exchange<\/strong> between scientific and technological entities (SCT) to transfer expertise and technology to SMEs.<\/li>\n
  • Developing new applications<\/strong> for collaborative robots tailored to the needs of traditional sectors.<\/li>\n
  • Utilizing innovative technologies<\/strong> for object manipulation and assistance in demanding tasks.<\/li>\n
  • Implementing solutions in real production environments<\/strong>, such as meat cutting, fruit packaging, and doll assembly.<\/li>\n
  • Establishing three “living labs”<\/strong> to promote the developed solutions and encourage their adoption in other sectors and SMEs in the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Cooperation and Regional Impact<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Collaboration between innovation centers and local territories will be key to ensuring territorial balance<\/strong>, promoting innovation transfer, and strengthening economic activity in the region. Transnational cooperation<\/strong> is essential, as the sectors involved face similar challenges, yet each entity has complementary knowledge and skills. Working together will lead to more effective and innovative solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
