The report \u201cTerritorial Mapping of Available Technologies\u201d, part of the Fashion Forward project, provides an analysis of current and future technology adoption in the sector.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The study points out common barriers: low digitalization, lack of recycling infrastructure, high reliance on low-skilled labor, and the urgent need for training in new technologies. Still, the region is seeing meaningful progress. Portugal stands out in mechanical and chemical fiber recycling; Spain leads in digitalization and traceability (blockchain, AI, RFID); France promotes extended producer responsibility and large-scale integration of recycled materials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-0\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Highlighted key technologies include advanced recycling, waterless dyeing, automation, alternative fibers, and nanotechnology.
