ASCA: Transnational Strategy for Agro-industrial Capacity Building in SUDOE
\nA Transnational Strategy for strengthening the capacities of the agro-industrial sector in SUDOE will be developed. The objective is to improve the various regional support programs for SMEs currently offered in the SUDOE regions involved in ASCA. This Strategy will be adopted, at a minimum, by the Junta de Extremadura, once the project is finished.<\/p>\n
The Strategy will be developed with a collaborative approach and a clear anchorage in existing policies:<\/p>\n
Firstly, the cross-border approach and complementarity of knowledge contributed by the partners and associated entities brings together all areas of knowledge in the agro-industrial value chain: business (SMEs), technology (technological centers), training and support (chambers of commerce and training centers). This combination of specializations and previous experiences generates added value, providing a transversal and comprehensive approach to the topic addressed.<\/p>\n
Secondly, the Transnational Strategy will establish priorities and an Action Plan, rooted in existing policies and strategies, in order to facilitate its subsequent adoption by key actors, as well as a shared and long-term vision.<\/p>\n
The results of the analysis and mapping, on which the Transnational Strategy will be based, will be concretized in a document that will include proposals for the Action Plan and Pilot Action to be implemented. The document will identify:<\/p>\n
Detection of knowledge gaps in the agro-industrial value chain, and key actors to involve.<\/p>\n
Main competencies and skills to be strengthened for SMEs and STEM students in industrial transition and applied innovation.<\/p>\n
Complementarity and\/or synergies in transnational collaboration for interaction and knowledge transfer.<\/p>\n
Identification of complementarities and innovations with respect to existing plans.<\/p>\n
Conclusions and concretization of the Pilot Action.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
