Le 20 mai, le Centre des sciences et technologies foresti\u00e8res de Catalogne (CTFC) a organis\u00e9 une r\u00e9union \u00e0 Lles de Cerdanya (Catalogne) avec les parties prenantes afin de coordonner la mise en \u0153uvre du deuxi\u00e8me projet pilote du projet Interreg Sudoe BIO4RES. Ce projet sera d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 au cours de la deuxi\u00e8me moiti\u00e9 du mois de juillet dans la r\u00e9gion de Cerdagne et \u00e9valuera diff\u00e9rents syst\u00e8mes d’extraction foresti\u00e8re dans le but de renforcer la r\u00e9silience des for\u00eats face au risque d’incendie.<\/p>\n

Le projet consistera \u00e0 comparer deux types de d\u00e9bardeurs – l’un avec un grappin et l’autre avec un c\u00e2ble – afin de d\u00e9terminer lequel est le plus efficace et le plus respectueux dans le cadre de la sylviculture \u00ab pied \u00e0 pied \u00bb, une technique ax\u00e9e sur des interventions localis\u00e9es qui favorisent la stabilit\u00e9 et la durabilit\u00e9 de la for\u00eat.<\/p>\n

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie LiDAR, la masse foresti\u00e8re sera quantifi\u00e9e avant et apr\u00e8s les travaux sylvicoles, ce qui permettra d’obtenir une analyse d\u00e9taill\u00e9e en termes qualitatifs et quantitatifs. En outre, le projet b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie de la collaboration du b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire fran\u00e7ais, l’Union des Communes Foresti\u00e8res du Grand Sud, qui appliquera l’Indice de Biodiversit\u00e9 Potentielle (IBP) pour \u00e9valuer l’impact des actions sur la capacit\u00e9 de la for\u00eat \u00e0 accueillir la biodiversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

L’objectif principal du projet BIO4RES est d’am\u00e9liorer la pr\u00e9vention et la gestion du risque d’incendie de for\u00eat sur le territoire du SUDOE (Espagne, Portugal, sud-ouest de la France et Andorre), en promouvant l’utilisation durable de la biomasse en tant que ressource \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique renouvelable. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette valorisation, l’objectif est d’assurer la viabilit\u00e9 des plans de pr\u00e9vention, de renforcer la r\u00e9silience des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes forestiers et de contribuer au d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique et social des zones rurales sans compromettre les services \u00e9cosyst\u00e9miques.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
