Du 21 juillet au 1er ao\u00fbt, le Centre de science et technologie foresti\u00e8re de Catalogne (CTFC) a men\u00e9 un essai pilote dans le cadre du projet Interreg SUDOE BIO4RES, ax\u00e9 sur l’innovation en mati\u00e8re de m\u00e9canisation dans l’exploitation de la biomasse foresti\u00e8re. L’objectif : am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9silience des for\u00eats et faire progresser la pr\u00e9vention et la gestion des risques d’incendie dans l’espace SUDOE (sud-ouest europ\u00e9en).<\/p>\n

L’action s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re transfrontali\u00e8re des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la r\u00e9gion de la Cerdagne, plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment dans les communes de Lles (Catalogne) et d’Er (France), renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la coop\u00e9ration entre les territoires.<\/p>\n

Au cours de l’essai, la technologie LiDAR a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour quantifier la biomasse foresti\u00e8re avant et apr\u00e8s le traitement sylvicole. En outre, les performances de deux types de machines foresti\u00e8res (d\u00e9busqueuses) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compar\u00e9es : l’Equus 175N, \u00e9quip\u00e9e d’un clambunk et d’une grue, et la Camox F175, \u00e9quip\u00e9e de deux tambours. Cette comparaison permet de progresser vers une m\u00e9canisation plus efficace et durable dans la gestion foresti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Parall\u00e8lement, l’\u00e9quipe technique de l’Union Grand Sud des communes foresti\u00e8res, autre b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaire du projet, a \u00e9valu\u00e9 l’impact de l’intervention sur la biodiversit\u00e9 \u00e0 l’aide de l’indice de biodiversit\u00e9 potentielle (IBP), afin d’\u00e9valuer et de minimiser les effets sur les services \u00e9cosyst\u00e9miques de la for\u00eat.<\/p>\n

Le projet BIO4RES vise \u00e0 consolider la viabilit\u00e9 des plans de pr\u00e9vention des incendies en valorisant la biomasse extraite, contribuant ainsi au d\u00e9veloppement de for\u00eats plus r\u00e9silientes sans renoncer \u00e0 leur fonction \u00e9cologique, \u00e9conomique et sociale.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
