Dans le cadre de l’Union europ\u00e9enne des g\u00e9osciences<\/a> (EGU), le BRGM<\/a> (Bureau de Recherches G\u00e9ologiques et Mini\u00e8res) <\/em>a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 pour pr\u00e9senter un poster le vendredi 8 mai 2026.<\/h4>\n

Le poster s’intitule : \u00ab POUR UNE MEILLEURE ADAPTATION DES TERRITOIRES THERMIQUES AU CHANGEMENT CLIMATIQUE \u00bb : LE PROJET THERMECOWAT<\/h4>\n

La richesse des territoires thermaux<\/strong> repose sur leurs eaux min\u00e9rales et thermales<\/strong>, exploit\u00e9es depuis l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9 pour des usages m\u00e9dicaux et \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques. Aujourd\u2019hui, le changement climatique<\/strong> menace leur durabilit\u00e9, alt\u00e9rant la qualit\u00e9, la quantit\u00e9 des ressources, ainsi que es mod\u00e8les d\u2019exploitation, notamment dans l\u2019espace SUDOE<\/strong>, o\u00f9 la baisse et la redistribution des pluies impactent ces enjeux.<\/p>\n

Le projet ThermEcoWat<\/strong> propose une m\u00e9thodologie participative int\u00e9grant les dimensions environnementales, socio-\u00e9conomiques et r\u00e9glementaires. Un consortium de g\u00e9oscientifiques, gestionnaires, et entrepreneurs (Chaudes-Aigues, Caldes de Montbui, S\u00e3o Pedro do Sul) travaille \u00e0 (1) diagnostiquer<\/strong> le fonctionnement actuel des sites pilotes et leur lien avec la ressource thermale, (2) comprendre<\/strong> les contraintes pr\u00e9sentes et futures sur son usage, et (3)<\/strong> proposer<\/strong> des solutions durables consensuelles.<\/p>\n

Cette approche, fond\u00e9e sur une base de connaissances multidisciplinaire et un outil d\u2019aide \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision utilisant des technologies innovantes, vise \u00e0 \u00eatre reproductible dans toute l\u2019Europe pour renforcer la r\u00e9silience des territoires thermaux<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
