Ce dispositif permettra d\u2019\u00e9valuer, dans des conditions r\u00e9elles, une technologie fond\u00e9e sur des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s \u00e9lectrochimiques visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration et la r\u00e9utilisation des eaux us\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour produire des oxydants in situ, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire directement au sein de l\u2019installation, \u00e9vitant ainsi le transport et le stockage de produits chimiques. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e9lectrochimique, il est capable de produire de l\u2019ozone gazeux et du peroxyde d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne, deux compos\u00e9s largement utilis\u00e9s dans le traitement de l\u2019eau en raison de leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les polluants et \u00e0 renforcer la d\u00e9sinfection. L\u2019un des principaux avantages de cette technologie r\u00e9side dans le fait que ces deux oxydants peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s s\u00e9par\u00e9ment ou combin\u00e9s afin de produire d\u2019autres agents oxydants, tels que les peroxones. Ceux-ci augmentent la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9limination des contaminants difficiles \u00e0 traiter et am\u00e9liorent la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau destin\u00e9e \u00e0 \u00eatre r\u00e9utilis\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs, le syst\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour fonctionner \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire photovolta\u00efque, ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire la consommation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et facilite son utilisation dans des installations isol\u00e9es du r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique. Sa conception modulaire et transportable permet d\u2019adapter la technologie \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents besoins et sites.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me pilote a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9 le 21 juillet dernier \u00e0 la station d\u2019\u00e9puration de Fontiveros, exploit\u00e9e par Aqualia. Les premiers r\u00e9sultats des essais devraient \u00eatre obtenus au cours des prochaines semaines.
