Cela accro\u00eet la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 des plantes face aux gel\u00e9es printani\u00e8res, qui affectent les cultures \u00e0 des stades critiques et peuvent entra\u00eener des pertes tr\u00e8s importantes dans les productions fruiti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les territoires de l\u2019espace SUDOE, de nombreuses exploitations ne disposent pas de solutions efficaces face \u00e0 ce risque. Les techniques disponibles sont souvent co\u00fbteuses, \u00e9nergivores ou d\u00e9pendantes de l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019eau. Dans ce contexte, le projet Interreg An\u2011Gel SUDOE encourage le d\u00e9veloppement et l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation de solutions innovantes, durables et transf\u00e9rables visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9silience du secteur agricole face aux gel\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Essai pilote<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>L\u2019essai pilote est men\u00e9 dans une exploitation de kiwis en conditions r\u00e9elles de production, ce qui permet d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019applicabilit\u00e9 pratique des solutions propos\u00e9es. La parcelle comprend des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s commerciales telles que Hayward et Sorelli et pr\u00e9sente des caract\u00e9ristiques repr\u00e9sentatives de ce type de culture, y compris des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019irrigation et de protection couramment utilis\u00e9s en production de kiwis.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019objectif du pilote est d\u2019analyser l\u2019influence de l\u2019humidit\u00e9 du sol et de la gestion du couvert v\u00e9g\u00e9tal sur l\u2019intensit\u00e9 des gel\u00e9es printani\u00e8res. Pour cela, un dispositif exp\u00e9rimental a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place bas\u00e9 sur la comparaison de deux modalit\u00e9s de gestion du sol :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Modalit\u00e9 1 (sol humide)<\/strong> : le sol est irrigu\u00e9 avant les \u00e9pisodes de gel, en le maintenant proche de la capacit\u00e9 au champ. Le couvert v\u00e9g\u00e9tal est g\u00e9r\u00e9 par broyage entre les rangs et contr\u00f4le de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation sur le rang.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Modalit\u00e9 2 (sol sec)<\/strong> : les m\u00eames pratiques de gestion du couvert v\u00e9g\u00e9tal sont maintenues, mais sans irrigation pr\u00e9alable au gel, ce qui permet d\u2019\u00e9valuer l\u2019effet sp\u00e9cifique de l\u2019humidit\u00e9 du sol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-67490\" src=\"https:\/\/interreg-sudoe.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Captura-de-pantalla-2026-05-29-125347-300x193.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/interreg-sudoe.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Captura-de-pantalla-2026-05-29-125347-300x193.jpg 300w, https:\/\/interreg-sudoe.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Captura-de-pantalla-2026-05-29-125347.jpg 757w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ce dispositif exp\u00e9rimental permet d\u2019analyser l\u2019effet direct de la teneur en eau du sol sur le comportement thermique du verger, ainsi que sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 att\u00e9nuer les basses temp\u00e9ratures lors des \u00e9pisodes de gel.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019essai comprend \u00e9galement un syst\u00e8me de suivi avec des stations m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques et des capteurs de sol qui enregistrent des variables climatiques et p\u00e9dologiques, permettant d\u2019\u00e9valuer avec pr\u00e9cision la relation entre les conditions environnementales et la s\u00e9v\u00e9rit\u00e9 des gel\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Actions et impact<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Les actions du pilote portent sur l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation de strat\u00e9gies de gestion du sol comme solutions passives face au gel, en r\u00e9duisant le recours \u00e0 des techniques intensives en ressources. Par ailleurs, un suivi continu des conditions climatiques et du sol est r\u00e9alis\u00e9, accompagn\u00e9 de l\u2019analyse des donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019impact attendu est l\u2019identification de pratiques agronomiques efficaces, durables et \u00e0 faible co\u00fbt permettant de r\u00e9duire les dommages caus\u00e9s par les gel\u00e9es printani\u00e8res en culture de kiwi.
