Energy Week: Vote for ClimACT!

The energy sector is a rapidly developing area of interest for the EU which is building an energy union in order to guarantee Europe's energy supply as safe, viable and accessible. The EU is determined to become a low-energy economy, addressing climate change, promoting a safe, secure, local and sustainable energy. Energy and environmental quality are important not only for human life but also for the planet, the economy and consumers. Legal basis on the energy field are in Article 194 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union that introduces shared competences between the EU and its member countries.

Energy Week: let’s meet in Brussels

From 17 to 21st June 2019, Brussels will host the “EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)”, an event entirely dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. The conference will be an opportunity to meet stakeholders, learn about EU energy policies and develop projects and ideas.

They did it again: after the Regiostars, ClimACT is finalist of the 2019 EU Sustainable Energy Award. This competition recognises the year's top sustainable energy projects in the categories of Engagement, Leadership, Innovation and Youth. 12 projects have been selected as finalists; among them ClimACT!
