The idea behind MedUAV is to create a transnational research network to introduce a synergy between R&D+i actors in the aviation/aeronautical sector and health care/medical industry.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), such as drones, are capable of innovating the way we transport goods. This is also true for medical transports (including donated organs & blood). Especially in urban areas, time is extremely crucial, and UAVs have the potential to ensure delivery in a fast and safe manner. Together we want to create a partnership to promote research and innovate cutting-edge UAVs and matching technologies to assist medical transports.
Main goal: Share knowledge, Innovate together & Initiate a synergic operation and greater coordination between R&D+i actors.

We hope to develop prototypes (e.g. UAVs, transportation boxes) and technologies that can ensure the rapid delivery of medical goods, such as medicines, donated organs/blood, vaccines etc.
