The project aims at developing links and synergies between companies, R&I centres, clusters, higher education and governmental & regional institutions to promote intelligent solutions for improving indoor climate and emission controls in classrooms in the SUDOE space.
Through defining a common strategy for implementing smart installations in classrooms, the project will estimulate networking and benchmarking in SUDOE space to address the challenges of air quality and energy efficiency in schools.
List of actions defined:
-Monitoring in order to get data of comfort and air quality
-Study of ventilation and/or air conditioning installations for optimisation or for installing new devices
-Creation of ventilation facilities or improvement of existing systems of easy implementation (heat recovery, waterproofing, Blower door, control systems, red CO2 traffic light)
-Measuring student performance and their involvement in improving air quality.
-Monitoring the consequences of improving air quality: improving ventilation, reducing consumption and reducing emissions
-Management and control system for the improvement of the intelligent control of the building (Smart Readiness Indicator for Buildings: https://smartreadinessindicator.eu automation of systems)
-Three case studies (one per region) that can be compared (benchmarking), which can be replicated.
-Adaptation to intelligent specialisation strategies (e.g. RIS3 Euskadi) in all regions.
-Adaptation of the proposed solutions to the constraints and technology of each region
-Good practices for the implementation of different air quality improvement solutions
-Promote networking by exchanging lessons learned in each region so that the potential transfer of knowledge to the different case studies in each region can be assessed.
-Design of methodology to address transnational challenges
