O cons\u00f3rcio do projeto europeu SocialForest realizou, esta segunda-feira, uma reuni\u00e3o de acompanhamento no Observat\u00f3rio Midi-Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es da Universidade de Toulouse, em Fran\u00e7a, com o objetivo de avaliar os progressos alcan\u00e7ados e coordenar as pr\u00f3ximas a\u00e7\u00f5es previstas no \u00e2mbito desta iniciativa de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o transnacional. A reuni\u00e3o contou com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de representantes das entidades parceiras de Espanha, Fran\u00e7a e Portugal envolvidas no projeto, financiado pelo programa Interreg Sudoe. Durante o encontro foram debatidas quest\u00f5es estrat\u00e9gicas, t\u00e9cnicas e de gest\u00e3o relacionadas com a promo\u00e7\u00e3o de modelos inovadores de gest\u00e3o florestal sustent\u00e1vel e com o refor\u00e7o do papel das comunidades rurais nos territ\u00f3rios florestais.<\/p>\n

Um dos principais pontos da ordem de trabalhos foi a revis\u00e3o da Estrat\u00e9gia Florestal Transnacional desenvolvida pelo projeto. A reuni\u00e3o permitiu igualmente conhecer os resultados preliminares das a\u00e7\u00f5es-piloto que est\u00e3o a ser implementadas em diferentes regi\u00f5es de Espanha, Portugal e Fran\u00e7a. Estas experi\u00eancias pr\u00e1ticas procuram gerar solu\u00e7\u00f5es inovadoras para melhorar a sustentabilidade dos sistemas florestais e promover novas oportunidades socioecon\u00f3micas associadas aos espa\u00e7os florestais.<\/p>\n

No \u00e2mbito da sustentabilidade da gest\u00e3o florestal, os parceiros analisaram o estado de desenvolvimento da Estrat\u00e9gia de Replicabilidade e dos Planos de A\u00e7\u00e3o Nacionais, que permitir\u00e3o transferir e ampliar os resultados alcan\u00e7ados pelo SocialForest para outros territ\u00f3rios europeus com caracter\u00edsticas semelhantes.<\/p>\n

A reuni\u00e3o terminou com uma a\u00e7\u00e3o de forma\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a plataforma Google Earth Engine (GEE), ministrada pela Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia, que permitiu aos parceiros refor\u00e7ar as suas compet\u00eancias t\u00e9cnicas para a an\u00e1lise e monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos ecossistemas florestais atrav\u00e9s de tecnologias geoespaciais.<\/p>\n

Com este encontro, o SocialForest continua a avan\u00e7ar na constru\u00e7\u00e3o de solu\u00e7\u00f5es inovadoras que contribuam para uma gest\u00e3o florestal mais sustent\u00e1vel, resiliente e participativa no sudoeste europeu.<\/p>\n
