Isabelle Roger

Director

Isabelle is French and is the Director of the Joint Secretariat of the Interreg Sudoe Programme.

She holds a degree in Geography and a PhD in Geography and Land Management from the University of Toulouse II - Le Mirail. Isabelle combined her professional experience as a Lecturer-Researcher with the management of territorial cooperation projects under the Interreg IIC 1998-2000 programme for the Southwest of France. Between 2002 and 2007, she was the Communications and Capitalisation Officer of the Interreg SUDOE Programme for the period 2000-2006 before being appointed as Director of the Joint Secretariat in 2008. Since then, she has leaded the management of the Interreg SUDOE Programme 2007-2013 and the current Interreg Sudoe Programme for the period 2014-2020.

Isabelle is a French native and has an excellent command of Spanish and English.

Christophe Cazal

Project Officer

Christophe is French and works as Project Officer for the Interreg Sudoe Programme since 2011.

He holds a Degree in Law from the University of Toulouse 1 Capitole, followed by a Master 1 in International and European Law and a Master 2 in Public Administration from the Institute of Political Studies of Toulouse. Christophe started his career in 2003 as Administrative Agent of the Haute-Garonne General Council. After working as an intern at the General Secretariat for Regional Affairs of the Prefecture of the Region Midi-Pyrenees, he returned to the Haute-Garonne General Council as Head of the Department of Regional Policy.

The native language of Christophe is the French and he is also fluent in Spanish and English.

Alexandre Le Gall

Project Officer

Alexandre is French and joined the Interreg Sudoe Programme as Project Officer in June 2015.

He holds a degree from the Institute of Political Science of Rennes and a Master’s degree in European Local and Regional Administration from the Robert Schumann University of Strasbourg. Subsequently, he followed the training for French civil servants in the Regional Institute of Administration of Nantes and he also graduated in Breton Language at the University of Rennes II. He began his professional career in 2007 as an officer of the French public administration in the Prefecture of Poitou-Charentes and later in the Regional Council of the same region. He was in charge of the monitoring, assessment, management and research of the projects financed by the ERDF.

The mother tongue of Alexandre is the French and he is also fluent in Spanish, German and English.

Alexandra Lopes

Project Officer

Alexandra is Portuguese and works as Project Officer of the Joint Secretariat since 2011.

She is a graduate in Economics from the University of Coimbra and holds a postgraduate degree in Management of Organizations and Public Management from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. Between 2005 and 2010, she worked as Technical Economist for the private sector and for a local Administration. In 2010 and 2011 she worked as Technical Project Office at an European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation.

Alexandra speaks Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.

Fernando Chofre Alvarez

Financial Management and Control Officer

Fernando is Spanish and since 2004 he manages the finance aspects and the controls of the Interreg Sudoe Programmes for the 2000-2006 and 2007-2013 periods and the current programme for 2014-2020.

He graduated in Economics and Business at the University of Alicante, with an specialisation in Economic Analysis and Quantitative Economics. Furthermore, he holds a postgraduate degree in Land Management and Environment from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. His professional career began in 1998 as a private consultant in the field of urban and land planning, including consultancy services related to EU Funds (ERDF and Cohesion Fund) for different public bodies, in particular for the Spanish Ministry of Finance and Public Administration.

Fernando is a Spanish native speaker and he has a good command of French and English.
