“As a TIC - Technological Interface Centre, Itecons promotes innovation and transfer of knowledge to companies, by developing applied research in the fields of construction, energy, environment and sustainability. Due to its large testing laboratory capacity (> 8000 m2) and a multidisciplinary team (> 90 employees), Itecons has collaborated in > 60 R&D projects funded by European and National funds. Itecons is a Technical Assessment Body entrusted by the European Commission to adopt European Assessment Documents and issue European Technical Assessments, under the Construction Products Regulation.
