In the context of digital transition and high enterprise competiveness, the aim of this project is to develop a multi-site technological platform whose mission is to enable SMEs to identify technical and organizational possibilities using Multi-Robots Systems (MRS). Beyond this essential step, the platform will aim to develop the most appropriate MRS in term of company’s organization while including a staff training part.

Thus, the proposed project aims to combine both technological and training dimensions to capitalize and disseminate the obtained results:

– Technological dimension :

It consists on providing the suitable tools to combine simulation and experimentation. This will help developing the best suitable system that responds to the needs of each SME. This preparation phase is a necessary step to improve the efficiency on the choice of models and strategies to establish the automation of their operations.

– Training dimension:

In the addition of the above mentioned dimension, training materials will be developed to better support current and future employees of the company, whether the operators in daily contact with the MRS or the managers who will have the task to control the overall activity.

Perfil Beneficiario:

  • SMEs interested by the introduction of Multi-Robots Systems in their activities, Universities or research team involved in the field of the development and simulation of intelligent systems.

Resultados Esperados:

The multi-site platform will allow to:

- Study the application, by simulation and experimentation, of the “Artificial Intelligence” in a context of multi-robots system for SME: perception, decision making and planning.

- Study, by simulation and experimentation, the dynamics of these physical systems: monitoring and controlling the physical system.

- Make available, to the platform users, the essential tools that allow a MRS executing its tasks: perception sensors, localization sensors, actuators, etc.

- Analyze and criticize, by simulation and test, the performance of the proposed systems in terms of precision, stability, robustness in order to achieve the technical recommendation of SMEs.

- Train the future MRS users. These users could be operators, managers and business leaders.
