Consorci de la Ribera (CRIB) is an association of 47 municipalities of la Ribera county (Valencia region). CRIB Sustainable energy department is an energy agency whose main objective is contributing to the achievement of a sustainable development of la Ribera county by means of promoting an energy saving culture and favoring the implementation of renewable energies.
CRIB was appointed on 2013 such as Covenant of Mayors Territorial Coordinator of la Ribera county municipalities.
Sustainable energy department is also assessing our municipalities in the following topics: circular economy (helping our local authorities to implement Zero waste strategies) and adaptation to climate change challenges (e.g urban nature plans and nature-based solutions).
CRIB has a large experience in the development of awareness raising and educational projects about sustainable energy.
