Interreg programmes make cooperation a reality across Europe’s regions by funding projects that aim to find common solutions to shared challenges.
The 2021-2027 programming period is the fourth generation of cooperation for most transnational Interreg programmes.
However, how can Interreg continue to contribute to the development of our regions after 2027?
Political discussions on the future of cohesion policy and Interreg already started last year. In this process, European, national and regional policymakers are curious to hear the needs and wishes of cooperation actors on the ground.
With this survey, we are supporting a Europe-wide effort coordinated by the European Commission. Your contributions to this survey will directly inform the position of policymakers, who are tasked with formulating concrete policy proposals in spring 2025.
