Agrobotics-DiTwins Presented at the 2024/2025 Citrus Campaign Review

Team UALG

The University of Algarve (UAlg) presented the Agrobotics-DiTwins project during the 2024/2025 Citrus Campaign Review, held on 22 October 2025 in Albufeira (Portugal). The event, organised by AlgarOrange and the National Horticultural Operational and Technological Centre (COTHN-CC), brought together producers, researchers, technicians and institutional representatives from across the citrus value chain to discuss the main challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

During the event, UAlg showcased the Agrobotics-DiTwins project through a dedicated poster, highlighting how digital twins, advanced sensing technologies and data-driven decision-support systems can contribute to addressing key issues such as water management, technological innovation and circular economy approaches in citrus production. This participation provided an opportunity to connect the project with real sector needs and promote dialogue between research and industry.
