The International Convention of Hop Producers is organising the meeting of the IHGC 2025 Scientific and Technical Commission, which will take place from 29 June to 3 July in Spalt, a town located in the traditional hop-growing region of Franconia, Germany. During these three full days of conferences, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the latest scientific and technological advances in the hop sector.
Two partners from I-ReWater will be among the speakers to discuss the project: Perrine Loussert, researcher at HOPEN – Terre de houblon, will present a poster on the life cycle assessment (LCA) of the French hop pilot developed by the USC in collaboration with HOPEN. In addition, Javier J. Cancela, coordinator of I-ReWater and researcher at Campus Terra – USC, will give a presentation on the hop pilot projects in Galicia and Castile and León. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a tasting of experimental beers.
