On 28 May 2025, a conference was held to provide information on efficient water use and irrigation strategies, which included a visit to the Maials plot, owned by the Lleida Provincial Council, where the I-ReWater project’s almond tree pilot is located. During the visit, researcher Joan Girona presented the I-ReWater project and explained the details of the pilot project and the strategies implemented to optimise water use in irrigated agriculture to the attending technicians.
