On 13 March 2025, a conference organised by the Catalan Irrigation Office was held at the Maials almond tree pilot site, located on a plot of land belonging to the Lleida Provincial Council. During the event, IRTA presented the I-ReWater project and the results obtained in 2024.
Producers were able to observe the different irrigation treatments applied to the almond trees. This initiative promotes the use of treated wastewater as an alternative for irrigation management.
