Soil&WineResidues | Montserrat Raviña participated in the round table discussion ‘If our mountains burn, a way of life burns’

On 17 September, Montserrat Raviña, a researcher at Soil&WineResidues, participated in the round table discussion ‘If our mountains burn, a way of life burns’ organised by the Association of Friends of the Natural History Museum of the University of Santiago de Compostela. It was a meeting for reflection and debate on the impact of forest fires in Galicia and their social, environmental and economic consequences.

The debate was coordinated by Suso Asorey and included the participation of: Serafín González (Sociedade Galega de Historia Natural – SGHN), María R. Lafuente (Association for the Ecological Defence of Galicia– ADEGA), Otilia Reyes (University of Santiago de Compostela – USC) y Monserrat Raviña (Higher Council for Scientific Research  – CSIC).
