On Tuesday 21 January, Javier J. Cancela, coordinator of the I-ReWater project and professor at the Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering (Campus Terra, USC), presented the project’s research on the uses of reclaimed urban water in agricultural irrigation in the SUDOE area (Spain, France, Portugal and Andorra).
The presentation took place at the workshop organised by the ReCrop project: ‘Resources and strategies to improve sustainability and biodiversity in Mediterranean and Lusitanian agrosystems’, held at the Campus Vida (Santiago de Compostela). The meeting was organised by two of the ReCrop project partners: Biomisión (CSIC Galicia) and the Catholic University of Porto, and was co-funded by the PrimaProgram association.
