The International Spanish- Egyptian Congress for Tourism, Hospitality and Heritage. "ISECT” – Cairo

The Cultur-Monts project will be present at the International Spanish-Egyptian Congress on Tourism, Hospitality and Heritage (ISECT), to be held in Cairo (Egypt) from 4 to 6 February. This international event, which brings together academic specialists from Spain, Europe, Latin America, North America, Asia and Egypt, is organised by the Sinai High Institute for Tourism and Hotels (Egypt), in collaboration with the Faculty of Commerce and Tourism of the Complutense University of Madrid.

This international meeting aims to foster the exchange and dissemination of knowledge, scientific findings and innovative approaches related to global transformations in heritage, tourism sciences and hotel management.

The ICAC, leader of the Cultur-Monts consortium, will participate in the session ‘Use of technology for the interpretation and dissemination of cultural heritage’. It will present a communication on the objectives and main heritage strategies being implemented by the project in the pilot windows to promote respectful tourism and sustainable territorial development, based on the enhancement of mountain cultural landscapes.
