STOP IATRO Project: Preventing Iatrogenic Dependence and Medication-Related Iatrogenesis for Healthy Aging

The European STOP IATRO project, funded by the European Union under the Interreg SUDOE program, is launching an ambitious initiative aimed at preventing iatrogenesis in elderly people.
Coordinated by Professor Philippe Cestac, Head of the Pharmacy Department at Toulouse University Hospital (CHU) and a professor at Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier University, the project brings together a consortium of renowned partners across southwestern Europe. The STOP IATRO project aims to promote healthy aging and high-quality care for seniors in these regions.

RePo-SUDOE celebrates its first Kick-Off

The Kick-off of RePo-SUDOE, a project that brings together partners from Spain, France and Portugal to boost drug repositioning, was held on 5 April. The RePo-SUDOE project: A step towards excellence in Drug Repurposing in the SUDOE area

The RePo-SUDOE project seeks to position the SUDOE area (Spain, France and Portugal) as a benchmark in drug repositioning, taking advantage of existing drugs for new applications. Its objectives include boosting scientific knowledge, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration and developing advanced technologies, such as a 3D visualisation room.
