The European STOP IATRO project, funded by the European Union under the Interreg SUDOE program, is launching an ambitious initiative aimed at preventing iatrogenesis in elderly people.
Coordinated by Professor Philippe Cestac, Head of the Pharmacy Department at Toulouse University Hospital (CHU) and a professor at Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier University, the project brings together a consortium of renowned partners across southwestern Europe. The STOP IATRO project aims to promote healthy aging and high-quality care for seniors in these regions.
On 16 and 17 April, Santander hosted a meeting of the Interreg SUDOE programme, where agreements were signed to promote the different projects. The RePo-SUDOE delegation, led by the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda, formalised its participation. The event also promoted the collaboration and dissemination of projects. Its objectives include boosting scientific knowledge, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration and developing advanced technologies, such as a 3D visualisation room.
