RESINSURF, a European project on sustainable metallic coatings, was presented at the AIAS Technical Sessions during Advanced Manufacturing Madrid 2025. The CIDETEC team showcased key advances and emphasized the relevance of the developed solutions to replace treatments with restricted substances, strengthening visibility and collaboration within the surface engineering sector.

IPREM, part of the University of Pau, participates in the RESINSURF project developing sustainable solutions for hexavalent chromium-free surface treatments. It highlights its work in XPS sample characterization, key to validating these eco-friendly alternatives within the Interreg Sudoe cooperation framework.

The European project AGROBOTICS-DITWINS, funded by the INTERREG SUDOE programme with more than €1.7 million, drives the digital transformation of the agricultural sector through the integration of advanced robotics and digital twins. Its goal is to bring these technologies closer to agricultural SMEs in Southwestern Europe, fostering a more efficient, sustainable, and competitive agriculture. Through Living Labs, the project enables direct experimentation between farmers and researchers, reducing technological and economic barriers. Coordinated by an international consortium of universities, technology centres, and business associations, AGROBOTICS-DITWINS contributes to the goals of the European Green Deal, promoting the transition towards a smart and climate-neutral agriculture.
