The first Transnational Meeting of the Resilient project took place on the 24th and 25th of September in Murcia, Spain.
The project leader, the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, organized a two-day event during which it was held meetings and presented the project activities, giving a strong emphasis on the first actions that will be implemented.
In addition to the work done together on project activities, the partners had the opportunity to visit some successful cases of Social Economy in rural areas of the Region of Murcia:
- We met the first women to join the Bordados (embroidery) de Caravaca de la Cruz cooperative: a Social Economy initiative that revitalizes the traditional embroidery sector. Rooted in the identity and value of handcraft work, the cooperative empowers its female members to promote their professionalization and entrepreneurship in rural areas through a strong public-private partnership.
- Visit to the Bodegas del Rosario Cooperative: A cooperative rooted in the rural area of Bullas, founded in 1950 by a union of local wine producers. Today, it stands as one of the most emblematic wineries in the Bullas DOP, preserving its cooperative spirit. Its success lies in combining tradition and innovation, as well as quality, sustainability, and strong community values.
All partners attended this first Transnational Meeting of the project.
