At the end of November (21/11), the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ICVV) hosted the I-ReWater Interreg SUDOE Project awareness day and open house in La Rioja. The event brought together more than fifty participants, including technical staff, researchers, and representatives from the wine sector.
During the session, the results of the last two campaigns of the ICVV #VineyardPilot were presented, along with project progress, the current state of reclaimed water use in Spain and Europe, and a visit to the La Grajera WWTP, where the water used in the experimental trial originates.
In addition, a dynamic and highly participatory discussion took place, focusing on the role of reclaimed water and its potential use in La Rioja and across the country, highlighting the opportunity it represents to move towards more sustainable water management.
