VALENCIA, APRIL 2

Last weekend, the 1st Ibero-American Congress on Nature-Based Therapeutic Interventions was successfully held, an international benchmark event that placed social innovation at the heart of scientific debate. Our lead beneficiary partner, Adventure Therapy (Terapia Aventura), spearheaded the organization of this event, where the Interreg Sudoe ALIS Project was presented.

Adventure Therapy explained how utilizing the natural resources of southwestern Europe, through standardized methodologies and technical rigor, enables the creation of effective solutions for health and social cohesion. This initiative stands out for its practical approach and its capacity to respond to the challenges faced by the most vulnerable groups in the territory. The exchange of experiences with experts from across the Ibero-American sphere has validated the ALIS intervention protocols, consolidating it as a benchmark project in knowledge transfer between regions.

The success of this first edition of the congress not only reinforces the impact of the Interreg Sudoe ALIS project but also highlights the partners’ commitment to creating comprehensive health models that respect and enhance the value of the natural environment.
